Terms & Information
My aim at all times is to provide you with the most positive experience I can.
Treatment Bookings
I. It is advisable to discuss any health concerns prior to an appointment. This will hopefully prevent any disappointments if GP approval is required before a treatment can be carried out. It is your responsibility to update me on any changes to your health so your treatment can be amended if need be.
II. In case of pregnancy a treatment will not be carried out until after the first trimester.
III. Parents/guardians should accompany any client under the age of 18.
IV. I only work with gentlemen that I know or who are referred to my by clients/friends.
Inappropriate Behaviour – the massage types I offer are for relaxation and therapeutic services only. There is (and never will be) no intimate component whatsoever to any of my massages.
V. Please endeavour to provide at least 48 hours notice of any appointment change or cancellation. When you cancel or miss your appointment with less than 48 hours notice I am not always able to fill the cancelled appointment time. Should this happen, you would of course be able to re-book when you feel well enough to do so or you may wish to consider a voucher.
VI. If I become ill I would need to cancel your appointment at short notice which would be a disappointing but necessary measure to keep you safe.
VII. If full or part payment has been paid for a treatment in advance of the booking date, a refund will only be considered if cancellation is made at least 3 days before the booking date. However, it may be possible to adjust the booking date.
Payment for treatments/training:
These can be made by:
Card payments / Payment links / BACS (including following the treatment whilst still at the treatment room) / Paypal / Cash
Consultation process and aftercare advice:
Consultations will be carried out prior to all treatments. Depending on style of initial contact, this may be by telephone/email/PM to help save time on the day of the appointment. Questions will include requests for updates on contraindications/contra-actions that may have occurred between treatments to clarify whether a treatment may go ahead. So please be prepared for your consultation to perhaps take a little longer.
CANCELLATION/REFUND POLICY
Treatments/Training/Workshop Bookings
I. A deposit of £50 reserves your training space on each course. This deposit is non-refundable however we will consider adjusting the training start date or transfer it to another course or treatment booking.
II. We cannot be held responsible for any transport issues or transport cancellations, weather problems, if you have to work unexpectedly, cannot find a child minder or if you or your child become unwell and you cannot attend a course. We can only consider a refund to students if cancellation is made 14 days (or more) before of the course start date. However, we will consider changing the course start date or transferring it to a different course or treatment.
III. We always aim to be flexible and fair so if enough notice is given, we can consider each request on a case-by-case basis.
IV. Payment of any deposit or part-payment is regarded as acceptance of these terms and conditions.
V. Any payment or part payment with regard to the above transport, work, weather, illness, childcare or council issues you may have which would be out of our control is always the responsibility of the student and not that of Wellness with Rosemary Bridgewater.
VI. We follow trading standards laws and regulations. In the same way if you buy a theatre ticket and you are not well or have to work, or you get stuck in traffic or have public transport cancellations you cannot change the ticket for another date, we trade in the same way as other training schools and adhere to trading standards regulations
VII. We have referred to trading standards in compiling these terms and conditions.
VIII. We aim to be as flexible as we can be when it comes to one off situations – for example if there is severe snow and you are unable to get to a class and enough notice is given, in extreme situations we may give a transfer and another date choice of date.
IX. We are unable to refund within less than 14 days if your train or plane is cancelled due to a disease like Coronavirus or similar. The general advice is to make sure you are covered by your travel insurance for any current health conditions that may be causing issues with travel, so you can claim back any losses via your insurance company. Wellness with Rosemary cannot be held responsible for any travel cancellations and cannot refund or transfer a place booked on a course if notification of any change is made in less than the 14 days required to inform us of any changes.
X. We are unable to refund you if you find out you require a visa and you do not have one in time to travel or attend with us. We are not able to get involved with a student application for a visa as this is not something we can legally help with as you would be required to independently organise this ahead of time.
XI. We always endeavour to be fair and understanding so if you have a medical reason and you have to cancel, with supporting evidence and if enough notice is given – we can review your case for you.
XII. If you have to self-isolate and you are unable to attend a course with us, no refunds will be offered unless you cancel in the 14 day time period required. A deposit of £50 reserves your training space on each course. This deposit is non-refundable within 14 days of the course start date, however we will consider adjusting the start date.
XIII. In booking a course with us, you fully agree to our terms and conditions as outlined here and on our website, which are fully available to view before you book a course with us.

Named individuals have the right to access personal data Rosemary holds about them. Should Rosemary receive such a request, they must respond to it within one month.
All information gathered from enquirers or clients is regarded as confidential and is solely for the attention of Rosemary.
All consultation forms are kept locked away separate from the treatment room. They are kept for 5 years in line with HMRC requirements and are then shredded to destroy them.
